		Location Climate If you desire eligibility for Illinois Conceived, Foaled, or Certified Stallion programs, climate is most advantageous to our location compared to any other established Illinois thoroughbred farm. Pastures are plushly green in March’s beginnings. Any proposed snow/ice conditions are completely vanished by the second week of February. Ridgewood is 8 miles from the Kentucky and Missouri bridge accesses. This places our establishment in alignment with such regions as the Missouri Boot Heel and Southern Kentucky.
